靈魂樂 Crazy in Music

如果提到「Wonderful tonight」，我想應該也要連帶提到「Layla」這首歌。
因為這兩首都是Eric Clapton寫給他的老婆Pattie Boyd。
(職業為模特兒及披頭四之吉他手George Harrison 的前妻)

不過在Eric Clapton當時寫這兩首立場及心情是截然不同。
因為在寫「Layla」時，Pattie Boyd仍未與George Harrison 離婚。
而這是Clapton對自己愛上好友的妻子，想對Pattie Boyd傾訴自己愛意及抒發苦戀的痛苦所作。
當時我看到這個故事，馬上就想找出George Harrison 及Pattie Boyd的照片。
猜想著Pattie Boyd應該有過人的美貌，不然怎會英國兩大吉他手都喜歡上她。
所以上google尋找他們的照片
發現Pattie Boyd真得還滿漂亮，尤其是二十歲的時候。

所以在寫「Wonderful tonight」的心情就完全不同，因為在過了幾年後，他與Pattie Boyd終於結為連理。故連等待Pattie Boyd打扮時候，心情上也是喜悅的。雖然最後他們兩人還是以離婚收場。不過難得的是George Harrison 與Eric Clapton的友情仍是走得長長久久。而Eric Clapton 2005年出的一張專輯「Back Home」，也有收錄已逝George Harrison 的作品。

*.原來版本是屬於狂野嘶吼的，而到1992年MTV不插電版本，Eric Clapton改為低吟迴唱，就像他與Pattie Boyd的那段情，也就這麼在時間的推移，成為另一種層次。此版本也成為經典歌曲之一。

當時很著迷Eric Clapton唱著「Layla」這個字，非常好聽的低音。

*.這個版本我覺得滿特別的是，他加入一個女生的聲音。因為一般後半部是吉他solo的時間。這首也是我少數喜歡的吉他伴奏，而Ending的時候很可愛，Eric Clapton還與那位女生互相鞠躬道謝。

我最喜歡Eric Clapton低吟般唱著這句「Is that you just don't realize how much I love you」，非常動人。
