靈魂樂 Crazy in Music

終於更新Clay Aiken這首歌~
一直在我的名單內，但卡在翻譯好久，最後還是不太有把握PO出中文歌詞。
這是我在大學時常聽的一首歌，很喜歡歌詞的意念。
尤其是下面這三句歌詞：

 收錄在Clay Aiken第一張專輯「Measure of a Man」中，MV拍得不錯。

首張專輯「Measure of a man」有很多好聽的歌曲，陸續再慢慢放上來!先放我最喜歡裡面的一首「When you say you love me」，這首是由野人花園的主唱戴倫海斯(Darren Hayes)所作，後來澳洲團體自然主義(Huamn Nature)於2004年也有翻唱此首，他們98年還有來台與李玫在演唱會合唱「默默愛你」，令人驚艷。觀看影片
我很喜歡Clay Aiken唱到最後，一直重覆say you love me的部份。

雖然Ruben Studdard是唱R&B、靈魂歌，不過他選的歌我都還好，可是當他與Clay Aiken合唱時，我卻比較喜歡他唱的部份。
1. Clay Aiken & Ruben Studdard - Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now

 
Clay Aiken 為美國偶像(American Idol)第二屆的亞軍，以些微的差距輸給Ruben Studdard。之後與RCA Records簽了唱片合約，在2003年10月推出首張專輯《Measure of a Man》。
目前Clay Aiken已出到第四張專輯，並且在去年公開性向為同志，這對他是滿大的掙扎。因他自幼在基督教家庭長大，與母親相依為命，且經常公開談論其信仰，他的歌曲也常有基督訊息。
以下是他在AI時期，我覺得還滿好聽的歌曲。

距離Christmas快要結束幾個小時，突然想到這首歌。
那時第一次聽到這首歌，就覺得很浪漫的感覺，不同一般聖誕歌曲的歡樂。
這是American Idol 2的第二名Clay Aiken在1998年唱的
(好像是高中舞會上演唱的)
雖然他後來出第二張專輯，有收錄其中並且重新演唱。
但不知道為什麼味道不一樣，我還是比較喜歡他1998年的版本。
之前他終於come out了，因為他有了他自己的孩子，
所以他不想養一個小孩，來隱藏自己的性向。(感覺在說Ricky Martin )
其實他本身就很喜歡小孩，所以他找了要好的女性朋友，
(不想結婚，只想要小孩)來幫忙
兩人共同扶養小孩。
